World traveling Indian magician Shreeyash brings his fun fusion show to the Smoke & Mirrors Theater at House of Magic in Glenside direct from New York on May 17 at 1pm. He previously lived in Philly, where he was a member of the Philadelphia Asian Performing Artists and taught at Albright College. He performed at Fringe Arts, Fat Lady, Magic Above Standard, and Asian American Arts Initiative. He co-created the live show Now You See Me with Mason Rosenthal, Randi Shine, Fred Siegel produced by WHYY and First Person Arts.
For 30 years, Shreeyash has performed magic around the world inspired by his late uncle. While doing a PhD at University of Chicago, he wrote his qualifying paper on Indian magic. Las Vegas magician Teller and Dean of Magicians Jay Marshall encouraged him to continue with his research and performing.
